Ingredient Spotlight!

~ Parsley~

Parsley is a herb that is commonly used as a garnish for a variety of dishes. If you can think of it, you can add parsley to it!  It is an excellent source of vitamin A, Folate and Iron.  Additionally, it can serve as a digestive aid as it has a high fiber content.

Importantly, parsley is considered a natural detox remedy and contains antiseptic, diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties.  In addition, this renowned herb also contains the flavonoid – Myricetin that research has shown can help to prevent skin cancer.  Further, parsley can help to provide nutritional benefits to the bones and immune system due to its vitamin contents.

Its ability to improve bone health is due to its high vitamin K content which helps in the absorption of calcium.

To good health!
