Almonds and Olivez became a reality in 2018. It was created to simplify wellness in a world where health information can often feel overwhelming and confusing. With so many trends, opinions, and quick fixes, it can be difficult to know what truly works. This platform exists to cut through the noise by sharing clear, science-backed insights that help you make informed, confident decisions about your health. Here, the focus is on balance over extremes — using food, lifestyle habits, and practical knowledge to support long-term well-being. At its heart, Almonds and Olivez is about helping you build a healthier life through simple, sustainable choices that truly make a difference.
You can read about my start-up story here –eBook: How I started my business with no ‘real’ budget but a BIG Faith

One of my greatest passions has always been helping others — it’s something that comes naturally to me. Whether through my professional roles or personal experiences, I’ve always been drawn to empowering people through knowledge and support.
My journey into health and wellness, however, became more personal after completing my first degree. Years of stress, emotional strain, and life’s challenges eventually caught up with me, and I found myself frequently visiting the doctor.
At one point, I was diagnosed with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), along with constant fatigue and an overall sense that my health was not where it should be. That experience became a turning point.
I began researching, learning, and gradually making changes — choosing more nourishing foods, becoming more active, and paying closer attention to my overall well-being. Like anyone else, I’m not perfect, but I’ve learned that small, consistent efforts truly make a difference.
Today, I embrace a lifestyle that supports both body and mind — from regular exercise and outdoor activities like hiking, to reading and continuous learning. This journey is what shaped Almonds and Olivez.
I absolutely love to read — whether it’s mystery, motivational, or business books. It all depends on the season I’m in and what I need at the time.
I also enjoy writing, especially poetry (yes, dub poetry), speeches, and creative pieces. In fact, as a child, one of my nicknames was “writer.” I’ve written for myself and others, entered competitions, and even had a few wins along the way.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. I used to draw on the backs of calendars at home before eventually upgrading to a proper scrapbook. While I don’t draw as often now, it’s still something I enjoy.
I love the beach, a good laugh, and anything comedy — I’ll laugh just watching someone else laugh!
As for scary movies… let’s just say I retired from those years ago after one unforgettable experience 😄
Life is a journey, and I truly believe it’s meant to be shared. Through Almonds and Olivez, I hope to educate, inspire, and support you in living a healthier, more balanced life — one meaningful step at a time.
How say you? What’s your fun fact?
