Want to Detox the body? We are bombarded with chemicals on a daily basis, from our foods which are sometimes laden with chemical fertilizers, to the products we use on our skin, hair and even around the home. Therefore, it is a good idea to purify the body regularly and not wait for that ‘toxic buildup’ which usually comes with fatigue, aches and pain.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar -ACV (I like using the one with the mother).
- 1 cup of water. (8 oz. or larger).
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder.
- 1 medium-sized lemon.
- ½ tsp ginger ( I use liquid ginger).
- 1 tsp honey (optional).
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all the ingredients to a cup of water.
- Mix well.
- Enjoy!
Notes:
You can do this daily for a while or a couple of times per week. Just ensure that you continue to eat healthily and drink your detox blend regularly.

~ Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)~
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) and water have been a ritual routine for a lot of people due to the many purported benefits. One such benefit is that it is high in acetic acid as well as raw enzymes and beneficial bacteria due to its fermentation process.
Some of the benefits include:
- The lowering of cholesterol can lead to better heart health.
- Helps to regulate blood sugar levels and thus can help with diabetes health.
- Kill harmful bacteria in the body.
- Weight loss.
However, with all good things, please be mindful of some of the side effects if consumed regularly. This includes the possible erosion of tooth enamel. A great way to combat this is to have this drink with a straw or to rinse the mouth with water immediately after drinking.
ACV could also cause digestive issues, especially if you suffer from a digestive disorder. So, it would be best to check with your doctor first before you consume this regularly.
