Ingredient Spotlight!

~ Almond Milk~

Almond milk is a widely used product that is usually used as a substitute for cow’s milk.  As such, it is typically used by persons who are lactose intolerant or on a healthy diet.

Almond milk, as the name suggests, is made from the almond nut.  As such, it is high in vitamin E, protein, calcium, potassium and magnesium.  It is also said to have a minute amount of riboflavin and phosphorus.

Be careful though when purchasing to ensure that you get a product that is free of harmful chemicals.  Also, watch out for the sugar content.

To good health!
