TABLE OF CONTENTS
Almond milk is truly a staple of mind. I enjoy consuming it in many of my gluten-free treats or just drinking it as is or chilled. Here is another way in which you can add that extra ‘oomph’ to your Almond milk to get that brain and overall boosted health. Try it nuh!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ cups Almond milk
- 1 tsp turmeric.
- ½ tsp cinnamon.
- ½ tsp ashwagandha powder.
- 3 – 4 dates (for a little sweetness).
- ½ tsp MCT/Coconut oil (optional).
- Black pepper (a few sprinkles).
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all the ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Serve and Enjoy!
Note:
You can enjoy this as is after blending or put it in the refrigerator to chill. This will make it even more enjoyable, especially on a hot day. Remember, the added black pepper is to assist with the absorption of the turmeric, so it is necessary, but not too much. Additionally, you can add the dates for a little bit of sweetness, especially if the almond milk used is of the unsweetened kind.
