Yogurt and Chocolate Treat – A Healthy Snack!

Love your yogurt? Well, here is another way to love it even more with another famous favourite – chocolate. This is an idea for a simple, yet healthy and nutritious treat, especially when you are on a weight loss journey and want to get in as much protein as possible. The two (2) main ingredients – yogurt and cacao powder. Try it nuh!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Tbsp yogurt.
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder.
  • Fruits, Nuts or seeds (of choice). Nuts optional.
  • 2 tsp maple syrup/honey (other of choice).

INSTRUCTIONS

    • Add yogurt to a small bowl.
    • Add cacao powder.
    • Combine well until smooth.
    • Add toppings (nuts/fruits/seeds), etc.
    • Sprinkle sweetener (maple syrup/honey/other).
    • Enjoy!
Notes:

This is one of those treats you can have between meals, especially if you are on a weight loss journey. It is also very filling and will certainly help you with your protein intake. I hope you enjoy it!

A tip:

You can add some collagen powder for that added protein boost or even a protein powder of your choice.
